Gemini Bioscience Resourcing (GBR) is the only full-service, woman-owned and operated brokerage specializing in Non-human Primates (NHPs). Our goal—guided by decades of experience in animal care, colony management, and client services—is to provide quality services with efficiency, enthusiasm, and empathy.
Meet the team
Sissy started her career with NHPs at the Emory National Primate Center in Suwanee, GA. Now, with over 30 years of experience ranging from Animal Care Technician, Colony Manager, and client services, her connections and knowledge of the industry and the models therein are vast. Sissy is one of the few in client services and sales who has a wealth of hands-on experience with NHPs and their care. With this, she has created Gemini Bioscience Resourcing (GBR) in 2021 to provide the compassionate and simultaneously efficient client services GBR is known for.
Shelby Chikazawa joined Sissy at Gemini Bioscience Resourcing in 2022 to support their growing client list. Previously, Shelby worked as a writer for various creative agencies and studios, as well as non-profit organization, SOSA, to combat the pervasiveness of online child sexual abuse. She is committed to making the world better for all, whether by supporting life-saving research or making the internet a safer place.
